Jobsite Delivery

Five yards, trucks out every morning, material where the crew is standing.

OUTWEST1995

Five Colorado yards.
One outfit.

01

The fleet

We run our own trucks. Not a third-party carrier, not a broker — our equipment, our drivers, and a dispatcher at the branch you called.

Boom trucks — Western Star and Freightliner chassis, Fassi and Cranworks cranes. 65 ft vertical, 61 ft horizontal — six stories.
Pup trailers — behind the booms when the lift and the load both need to arrive together.
Semis and trailers — full truckloads of board and steel, yard to yard or straight to the site.
Flatbeds — 2-ton, for the everyday drop.
Curtain-side and box trucks — enclosed, for tile, ceiling grid, insulation, and spray foam that cannot ride under a tarp in weather.
Three-quarter-ton pickups — the fast run. A missed item, a short count, one bundle across town before the crew loses the morning.

That range is the point. A job does not need the same truck every day, and a distributor with one class of truck either overspends on your small delivery or cannot handle your big one.

02

The three-quarter-ton is not an afterthought

Most of what stops a crew is small — a case of compound, ten sheets, the trim that got missed on the takeoff. A full delivery truck cannot leave for that and a national distributor will put it on tomorrow's run. We keep pickups at the branches so the answer to "we are two bundles short" is this morning, not tomorrow.

03

Where we run

Anywhere in Colorado. New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Arizona are standard runs — Farmington, Moab, Cheyenne, Flagstaff, no special arrangement needed. If the job is beyond those five states, call us and we will figure out a way to get it done.

From Denver across the Front Range. From Grand Junction west into Utah. From Durango south into New Mexico and the Four Corners. From Glenwood Springs, Eagle, and Montrose through the Roaring Fork, the Vail Valley, and the San Juans.

If your job is between two of our yards, whichever one has the material and the shorter road wins. You do not have to figure that out — we will.

04

Telling us what you need

Text the branch with the order, the address, and the day. Add anything about the site we should know: gate code, narrow access, no forklift, deck height, someone has to be there to sign. The more of that we get up front, the fewer phone calls at seven in the morning.

05

The 2pm cutoff, and why it exists

Get your order in by 2pm and it goes out the next day. That is not a rule to make your life harder — it is so the load gets built the afternoon before, checked against your order, and put on the truck right. A load thrown together at six in the morning is a load with something missing.

It is a soft cutoff. Call after 2pm and we will tell you honestly whether it still makes tomorrow.
