Powder-actuated pins are fast and fine for bottom track on a slab. They are not for anything carrying load, anything in a rated assembly the listing does not cover, or anything within a few inches of a slab edge — the concrete spalls. For those, mechanical anchors. TRUFAST for wall and roof fastening systems; Simpson for the engineered anchors on the structural drawings.
