Every structural stud is stamped with its thickness in mils and its minimum yield strength — 33 ksi or 50 ksi. The engineer's schedule calls out both, and a 43-mil 33-ksi stud is not a substitute for a 43-mil 50-ksi one. Send us the framing schedule and we will match it line by line.
