Bathrooms, laundry, kitchens, basements, anywhere humidity runs high or a leak is likely. It resists mold growth on the face and core. It does not resist standing water, and it is not a tile backer inside a shower or tub surround — that is cement board or glass-mat backer, and inspectors in Colorado will call it.
