Gold Bond Fire-Shield is the 5/8" Type X that goes out most days. The 1/2" fire-rated board is Type C, and 5/8" Type C is available when the assembly calls for it. Send the UL number with your order and we will match the board to the assembly.

We stock common 1/2" Type C sizes. The 5/8" Type X sizes are on the rack, and 5/8" Type C comes in for assemblies that call for it.
